Mercy Response logo

South Louisiana has been hit incredibly hard and we have reactivated Mercy Response. There is widespread flooding and damage from I-55 to Lafayette, Louisiana, with Baton Rouge area being ground zero. Some Vineyard pastors and staff are affected but have already jumped into their communities to help flood victims.

On August 23rd, Mercy Response mobilized our assets and setup a base camp at the Vineyard Church of Baton Rouge in an effort to come alongside them and help them be the hands and feet of Jesus offering hope to those affected by the floods.

Since that time we have had 200 volunteers from 33 churches stay at the camp that have gutted 55 homes, served thousands of meals and distributed Boxes of Hope to flood victims.

To date we still have 75 homes on our gutting/cleanup list and more are being added daily.
